The conversion steps
Satr finds transaction rows by their date patterns, groups the text into columns and joins descriptions that wrap onto another line. You then set each column as Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Amount, Balance, Text or Ignore and rename the headers. A right-to-left toggle covers Arabic and Persian statements.
The number format (1.234,56 or 1,234.56, Arabic separators, Persian and Arabic-Indic digits) is detected automatically, and negatives written with a minus, parentheses or a trailing minus are recognised. You can override the format.
Supported and not supported
Text PDFs from internet or mobile banking are supported. For password-protected files you type the password, and it is used on your device only. Scanned paper statements and photos (image-only PDFs) are not supported, and there is no OCR.
Verify it yourself
To confirm that your file is not uploaded:
- Open the Satr page and press F12 to open developer tools.
- Go to the Network tab and clear the list if it has entries.
- Choose a PDF and convert it.
- Look through the requests: none carries your PDF or its content.
- If you go to payment, only order information appears; on the single-file plan the file's SHA-256 fingerprint is sent too, never the content.

Once the page has loaded, the conversion works offline. Only the payment check needs the network.
How are rows found?
By date patterns. Lines without a date are joined to the description of the previous transaction.
What if the number format is detected wrongly?
Choose the right format yourself in the preview.
How can I be sure my file is not uploaded?
Press F12, open the Network tab, convert a file and look: no request carries your PDF.
Does it work with scanned statements or photos?
No. Satr works with text PDFs downloaded from internet or mobile banking. Scanned paper statements and photos (image-only PDFs) are not supported, and there is no OCR.
