Exactly what is sent
The site does make some network calls. This is the complete list, and there is nothing else:
- Loading the site files from our own domain.
- For payment: the chosen plan, the interface language and, for the single-file plan, the file's SHA-256 fingerprint; then payment status checks for that order id, the transaction hash if you choose to paste one, and the unlock-code check.
- Anonymous counter events: only an event name from a fixed list (visit, file_parsed, preview_download, order_created, paid) and the interface language. No file data, no file names, no amounts from the statement.
- Order records kept in our database: plan, the file's SHA-256 (single-file plan only), amount, transaction hash, language and time. No file content and no IP address.
What is not sent
Your PDF, its content, its file name, the amounts and descriptions inside it and the PDF password are not sent. A SHA-256 fingerprint does not reveal the file's content; it only ties a single-file unlock to that file.
We store no IP addresses. For rate limits only, the server keeps a one-way hash of the IP salted with the current day, deleted after two days.
Hosting, cookies and third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which as the host processes standard technical request data, like any website. We use no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts, and no third-party scripts or fonts.
The blockchain payment itself is public by nature: the transaction and wallet addresses are visible on the chain.
What is stored in your browser
After payment, the unlock code is stored in your browser's localStorage. If you clear browser data you may need to enter it again, so keep a copy.
Verify it yourself
Open developer tools with F12, convert a file with the Network tab open, and see that no request carries your PDF. The steps are on the how-it-works page.
Questions
Does my file's content go anywhere?
No. The PDF is read on your device; its content, name and amounts are never sent.
Do you ask for an account or email?
No. No account, email or card is needed.
Do you use cookies?
No tracking cookies. The unlock code is kept in your browser's localStorage.
What does the anonymous counter record?
Only an event name (visit, file_parsed, preview_download, order_created, paid) and the interface language. We store no IP addresses.
