About Yes Bank statements
Yes Bank is a bank in India, and its customers usually download a bank statement as a PDF from online banking or the mobile app.
Yes Bank is listed as a privately owned bank. The bank is headquartered in Mumbai. Its website domain is yes.bank.in. Founded in 2004.
Getting the PDF out of Yes Bank
Open the bank statement area of Yes Bank online banking or its app, select the account and the date range, then save or export the result as PDF. Where exactly this sits depends on the bank's current design, so follow the labels on your own screen.
Text PDFs, scans and password-protected files
PDF statements generated by a bank system contain selectable text. Those are the files Satr is built for.
A scan or a photo of a paper statement has no text layer, and Satr has no OCR, so it cannot read it. Download the PDF again from online banking instead.
Password-protected PDFs open after you type the password in your browser. Neither the password nor the file goes to a server.
How India amounts and dates are handled
Amounts in India statements are typically shown in INR (₹), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. Dates commonly look like DD/MM/YYYY, DD-MM-YYYY, or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Indian digit grouping such as 12,34,567.00 is common; Satr removes the commas correctly when it reads the number. Debit and credit can be marked with Dr and Cr after the amount; Satr reads Dr as a negative number. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.
Using the Excel file in Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks
If you use Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
What has been tested
Yes Bank is not in our list of individually tested banks.
Satr works with text-based PDFs. Layouts tested so far: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).
Satr is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Yes Bank. The bank is named only so you know which PDF this page is about.
Privacy: nothing is uploaded
Nothing in your statement is uploaded. Satr runs inside your browser tab, so the PDF, the rows and the exported file stay on your device.
