A MyState Bank PDF bank statement becomes an Excel sheet in three moves: download the PDF from MyState Bank, open it in Satr, then export XLSX or CSV. Your file is processed locally and never sent to a server.

About MyState Bank statements

Customers of MyState Bank in Australia typically get their bank statement as a PDF, and that PDF is what Satr reads.

MyState Bank appears under private ownership in the list we checked. MyState Bank runs its head office from Hobart. Founded in 2009.

Getting the PDF out of MyState Bank

Open the bank statement area of MyState Bank online banking or its app, select the account and the date range, then save or export the result as PDF. Where exactly this sits depends on the bank's current design, so follow the labels on your own screen.

Text PDFs, scans and password-protected files

When the bank generates the PDF itself, the text inside is real text, not a picture. Satr reads that text layer and rebuilds the rows from it.

Scanned pages and photos saved as PDF are images. Satr does not do OCR, so it will tell you there is no text.

If the PDF is password-protected, Satr asks for the password and opens it locally; the password is not sent anywhere.

How Australia amounts and dates are handled

In Australia, amounts are normally written in AUD ($); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). You will usually see dates written as DD/MM/YYYY or DD Mon YYYY.

Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

Satr recognised these number and date patterns in our own checks, and you can still change the number format and column roles before exporting.

Using the Excel file in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks

Many people in Australia work with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. You can map the Excel or CSV columns in the import screen of those programs; Satr has no integration with them and does not claim any.

What has been tested

MyState Bank is not in our list of individually tested banks.

Satr reads text-based PDFs with a generic parser. So far we have tested these layouts: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).

Satr is an independent tool and is not affiliated with MyState Bank. The bank is named only so you know which PDF this page is about.

Privacy: nothing is uploaded

Nothing in your statement is uploaded. Satr runs inside your browser tab, so the PDF, the rows and the exported file stay on your device.
