In United Arab Emirates, amounts are normally written in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). You will usually see dates written as DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.

Right-to-left text is read in logical order, with Latin words and digits kept intact. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
