What to expect from your Emirates NBD statement

The bank is headquartered in Dubai. Its website domain is emiratesnbd.com. It is also known locally as بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني, which is the name you may see on a PDF header.
How to get the PDF bank statement from Emirates NBD
Ask Emirates NBD online banking for the bank statement of the account and period you need and download it as a PDF. If a PDF is not offered, the branch or the bank's support can usually provide one.
Which PDFs work
When the bank generates the PDF itself, the text inside is real text, not a picture. Satr reads that text layer and rebuilds the rows from it.
A PDF made by scanning paper, or a screenshot saved as PDF, holds pictures only. Satr cannot read pictures, so get the original PDF from online banking.
Password-protected PDFs open after you type the password in your browser. Neither the password nor the file goes to a server.
Reading United Arab Emirates amounts and dates
In United Arab Emirates, amounts are normally written in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). Dates commonly look like DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Right-to-left text is read in logical order, with Latin words and digits kept intact. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

Importing into accounting software
Many people in United Arab Emirates work with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Tally. You can map the Excel or CSV columns in the import screen of those programs; Satr has no integration with them and does not claim any.
