Download your bank statement from UCO Bank as a PDF
In the UCO Bank app or website, open the account you need and look for a statement or transaction history option; if it can be saved as PDF, save it. We do not describe exact menus, because they change; search the help section of UCO Bank for “bank statement” if you cannot find it.
What the PDF must contain
A PDF that you download from online banking normally has a real text layer, and Satr can read its rows. You can test this by trying to select text in the PDF.
Scanned pages and photos saved as PDF are images. Satr does not do OCR, so it will tell you there is no text.
Password-protected PDFs open after you type the password in your browser. Neither the password nor the file goes to a server.
India: numbers, dates and currency
Amounts in India statements are typically shown in INR (₹), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY, DD-MM-YYYY, or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Indian digit grouping such as 12,34,567.00 is common; Satr removes the commas correctly when it reads the number. Debit and credit can be marked with Dr and Cr after the amount; Satr reads Dr as a negative number. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
We checked sample values in these formats against the shipped parser and they were read correctly; you stay in control, because the number format can be changed in the preview.
Using the Excel file in Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks
If you use Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
Tested or not?
UCO Bank is not in our list of individually tested banks.
Satr works with text-based PDFs. Layouts tested so far: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).
Satr is an independent tool and is not affiliated with UCO Bank. The bank is named only so you know which PDF this page is about.
Your UCO Bank PDF stays on your device
Satr reads the file locally. There is no upload, no account, and nothing from the statement is stored on a server. You can confirm it with your browser's developer tools.
