What to expect from your VietinBank statement

How to get the PDF bank statement (sao kê) from VietinBank
Ask VietinBank online banking for the bank statement (sao kê) of the account and period you need and download it as a PDF. If a PDF is not offered, the branch or the bank's support can usually provide one.
Which PDFs work
PDF statements generated by a bank system contain selectable text. Those are the files Satr is built for.
A PDF made by scanning paper, or a screenshot saved as PDF, holds pictures only. Satr cannot read pictures, so get the original PDF from online banking.
If the PDF is password-protected, Satr asks for the password and opens it locally; the password is not sent anywhere.
Reading Vietnam amounts and dates
Amounts in Vietnam statements are typically shown in VND (₫), using a comma (,) for decimals and a dot (.) to separate thousands. Dates commonly look like DD/MM/YYYY.
Whole-number amounts with dots as thousands separators, such as 1.234.567, are common; check that the preview shows them as whole numbers. Because the decimal mark is a comma, the preview shows whether Satr chose the right number format, and you can switch it.
Satr recognised these number and date patterns in our own checks, and you can still change the number format and column roles before exporting.
Importing into accounting software
If you use MISA, FAST, and Bravo, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
Status of VietinBank in Satr
