Statements in Nigeria usually show amounts in NGN (₦) with a dot (.) as the decimal mark and a comma (,) as the thousands separator. A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
Satr recognised these number and date patterns in our own checks, and you can still change the number format and column roles before exporting.
Importing into accounting software
Accounting packages used in Nigeria, such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Zoho Books, let you import spreadsheet files. Export from Satr as XLSX or CSV and match the columns there; Satr is not connected to those programs.
