Formats in Nigeria

In Nigeria, amounts are normally written in NGN (₦); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). Dates commonly look like DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.

Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.

Many people in Nigeria work with QuickBooks, Sage, and Zoho Books. You can map the Excel or CSV columns in the import screen of those programs; Satr has no integration with them and does not claim any.
