Number, date and currency formats in Kenya
Amounts in Kenya statements are typically shown in KES (KSh), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. You will usually see dates written as DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.
If you use QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho Books, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
