Allied Bank in Pakistan

If you bank with Allied Bank in Pakistan, the PDF bank statement is the file you start from; Satr turns its transaction table into a spreadsheet.

Allied Bank is listed as a privately owned bank. Its headquarters are in Lahore. You can find it online at abl.com.

Download your bank statement from Allied Bank as a PDF

In the Allied Bank app or website, open the account you need and look for a statement or transaction history option; if it can be saved as PDF, save it. We do not describe exact menus, because they change; search the help section of Allied Bank for “bank statement” if you cannot find it.

What the PDF must contain

PDF statements generated by a bank system contain selectable text. Those are the files Satr is built for.

A PDF made by scanning paper, or a screenshot saved as PDF, holds pictures only. Satr cannot read pictures, so get the original PDF from online banking.

Locked with a password? Type it into Satr when asked. The password is used on your device to unlock the file and goes nowhere else.

Pakistan: numbers, dates and currency

In Pakistan, amounts are normally written in PKR (Rs); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.

Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.

Using the Excel file in QuickBooks, Xero, and Tally

If you use QuickBooks, Xero, and Tally, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.

Tested or not?

No statement from Allied Bank has been tested individually yet.

Your Allied Bank PDF stays on your device
