What to expect from your Meezan Bank statement

Meezan Bank is a bank in Pakistan, and its customers usually download a bank statement as a PDF from online banking or the mobile app.

Meezan Bank is listed as an Islamic bank; its statements may use terms such as profit instead of interest.

How to get the PDF bank statement from Meezan Bank

Ask Meezan Bank online banking for the bank statement of the account and period you need and download it as a PDF. If a PDF is not offered, the branch or the bank's support can usually provide one.

Which PDFs work

PDF statements generated by a bank system contain selectable text. Those are the files Satr is built for.

A PDF made by scanning paper, or a screenshot saved as PDF, holds pictures only. Satr cannot read pictures, so get the original PDF from online banking.

Locked with a password? Type it into Satr when asked. The password is used on your device to unlock the file and goes nowhere else.

Reading Pakistan amounts and dates

In Pakistan, amounts are normally written in PKR (Rs); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.

Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.

Importing into accounting software

If you use QuickBooks, Xero, and Tally, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.

Status of Meezan Bank in Satr

Meezan Bank has not been individually tested with Satr.

The parser is generic and reads text-based PDFs. Layouts we have tested so far: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).

Satr is not affiliated with Meezan Bank. Meezan Bank is named only to describe the PDF you bring.

Privacy: nothing is uploaded

Satr reads the file locally. There is no upload, no account, and nothing from the statement is stored on a server. You can confirm it with your browser's developer tools.
