About Philippine National Bank statements

If you bank with Philippine National Bank in Philippines, the PDF bank statement is the file you start from; Satr turns its transaction table into a spreadsheet.

Philippine National Bank runs its head office from Pasay. Its website domain is pnb.com.ph.

Getting the PDF out of Philippine National Bank

Open the bank statement area of Philippine National Bank online banking or its app, select the account and the date range, then save or export the result as PDF. Where exactly this sits depends on the bank's current design, so follow the labels on your own screen.

Text PDFs, scans and password-protected files

When the bank generates the PDF itself, the text inside is real text, not a picture. Satr reads that text layer and rebuilds the rows from it.

A PDF made by scanning paper, or a screenshot saved as PDF, holds pictures only. Satr cannot read pictures, so get the original PDF from online banking.

Locked with a password? Type it into Satr when asked. The password is used on your device to unlock the file and goes nowhere else.

How Philippines amounts and dates are handled

Statements in Philippines usually show amounts in PHP (₱) with a dot (.) as the decimal mark and a comma (,) as the thousands separator. You will usually see dates written as MM/DD/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.

Some statements put the month first (MM/DD/YYYY); check the date order in the preview when the day is 12 or lower. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

We checked sample values in these formats against the shipped parser and they were read correctly; you stay in control, because the number format can be changed in the preview.

Using the Excel file in QuickBooks and Xero

If you use QuickBooks and Xero, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.

What has been tested

Philippine National Bank is not in our list of individually tested banks.

Satr reads text-based PDFs with a generic parser. So far we have tested these layouts: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).

Satr is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Philippine National Bank. The bank is named only so you know which PDF this page is about.

No upload: how your Philippine National Bank file is handled

Nothing in your statement is uploaded. Satr runs inside your browser tab, so the PDF, the rows and the exported file stay on your device.
