Statements in Malaysia usually show amounts in MYR (RM) with a dot (.) as the decimal mark and a comma (,) as the thousands separator. A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY or DD Mon YYYY.

Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.

Importing into accounting software

Many people in Malaysia work with SQL Account, AutoCount, and QuickBooks. You can map the Excel or CSV columns in the import screen of those programs; Satr has no integration with them and does not claim any.
