Number, date and currency formats in Bangladesh
Amounts in Bangladesh statements are typically shown in BDT (৳), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. A typical date format is DD/MM/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Indian digit grouping such as 12,34,567.00 is common; Satr removes the commas correctly when it reads the number. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
In our checks Satr read these patterns correctly; the mapper still lets you switch the number format if a file differs.
Many people in Bangladesh work with Tally and QuickBooks. You can map the Excel or CSV columns in the import screen of those programs; Satr has no integration with them and does not claim any.

No. The PDF is read in your browser and stays on your device.
How are Bangladesh amounts and dates read?
