What to expect from your China Banking Corporation statement
China Banking Corporation is a bank in Philippines, and its customers usually download a bank statement as a PDF from online banking or the mobile app.
The bank's web address is chinabank.ph.
How to get the PDF bank statement from China Banking Corporation
Ask China Banking Corporation online banking for the bank statement of the account and period you need and download it as a PDF. If a PDF is not offered, the branch or the bank's support can usually provide one.
Which PDFs work
When the bank generates the PDF itself, the text inside is real text, not a picture. Satr reads that text layer and rebuilds the rows from it.
Scanned pages and photos saved as PDF are images. Satr does not do OCR, so it will tell you there is no text.
Password-protected PDFs open after you type the password in your browser. Neither the password nor the file goes to a server.
Reading Philippines amounts and dates
Amounts in Philippines statements are typically shown in PHP (₱), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. Dates commonly look like MM/DD/YYYY or DD-Mon-YYYY.
Some statements put the month first (MM/DD/YYYY); check the date order in the preview when the day is 12 or lower. Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
We checked sample values in these formats against the shipped parser and they were read correctly; you stay in control, because the number format can be changed in the preview.
Importing into accounting software
If you use QuickBooks and Xero, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
