United States: numbers, dates and currency
Statements in United States usually show amounts in USD ($) with a dot (.) as the decimal mark and a comma (,) as the thousands separator. A typical date format is MM/DD/YYYY or MM/DD.
Some statements put the month first (MM/DD/YYYY); check the date order in the preview when the day is 12 or lower. Some statements print dates without a year (for example 04/01); those rows may need the year added in Excel.
We checked sample values in these formats against the shipped parser and they were read correctly; you stay in control, because the number format can be changed in the preview.
Using the Excel file in QuickBooks and Xero
Accounting packages used in United States, such as QuickBooks and Xero, let you import spreadsheet files. Export from Satr as XLSX or CSV and match the columns there; Satr is not connected to those programs.
