Number, date and currency formats in United States

Amounts in United States statements are typically shown in USD ($), using a dot (.) for decimals and a comma (,) to separate thousands. Dates commonly look like MM/DD/YYYY or MM/DD.

Some statements put the month first (MM/DD/YYYY); check the date order in the preview when the day is 12 or lower. Some statements print dates without a year (for example 04/01); those rows may need the year added in Excel.

Satr recognised these number and date patterns in our own checks, and you can still change the number format and column roles before exporting.

Accounting packages used in United States, such as QuickBooks and Xero, let you import spreadsheet files. Export from Satr as XLSX or CSV and match the columns there; Satr is not connected to those programs.
