UOB Malaysia in Malaysia
UOB Malaysia is a bank in Malaysia, and its customers usually download a bank statement as a PDF from online banking or the mobile app.
UOB Malaysia appears as a foreign-owned bank in Malaysia in the list we checked.
Download your bank statement from UOB Malaysia as a PDF
In the UOB Malaysia app or website, open the account you need and look for a statement or transaction history option; if it can be saved as PDF, save it. We do not describe exact menus, because they change; search the help section of UOB Malaysia for “bank statement” if you cannot find it.
What the PDF must contain
When the bank generates the PDF itself, the text inside is real text, not a picture. Satr reads that text layer and rebuilds the rows from it.
A scan or a photo of a paper statement has no text layer, and Satr has no OCR, so it cannot read it. Download the PDF again from online banking instead.
Locked with a password? Type it into Satr when asked. The password is used on your device to unlock the file and goes nowhere else.
Malaysia: numbers, dates and currency
In Malaysia, amounts are normally written in MYR (RM); the decimal mark is a dot (.) and the thousands separator is a comma (,). You will usually see dates written as DD/MM/YYYY or DD Mon YYYY.
Dates with month names, such as 01-Apr-2025, are recognised in English; month names in other languages may need a manual check.
Satr recognised these number and date patterns in our own checks, and you can still change the number format and column roles before exporting.
Using the Excel file in SQL Account, AutoCount, and QuickBooks
If you use SQL Account, AutoCount, and QuickBooks, open the exported XLSX or CSV and match its columns in the program's import screen. There is no connection between Satr and these tools.
Tested or not?
UOB Malaysia is not in our list of individually tested banks.
Satr works with text-based PDFs. Layouts tested so far: 5 synthetic sample statements of fictional banks (Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian).
Satr is an independent tool and is not affiliated with UOB Malaysia. The bank is named only so you know which PDF this page is about.
Privacy: nothing is uploaded
Satr reads the file locally. There is no upload, no account, and nothing from the statement is stored on a server. You can confirm it with your browser's developer tools.
